Thank you for coming to our classroom back in December to show us photos and to tell us about
your trip. We loved seeing the big cracks in the ice.
Some of us thought the cracks were scary!
We hope you had a nice New Year and we wish you
good luck on your trip. We will be thinking of you every day. Will you see penguins or leopard seals? Good luck.
Love,

Room U, Chollas-Mead Elementary

This is Miss Verhoye writing at
4 p.m. on the 4th. You just left
today. What do you miss the most?
People? Your dog? Mexican food?
Fresh food? The beach? Warm weather?
TV? Your job? Hope you are safe and sound. We'll write again soon.
The kids are very excited!

Luv,

CDV

Dear Miss Kathy and friends,

We were so excited to read about
your adventures in Antarctica.
Guess what? Today is Yesenia's birthday and she was so proud
that you put her name in your BLOG.
We are sorry that you don't have any
hot water to take a shower. And you don't get to sleep well either.
We hope that you get to the South
Pole by Thursday like you said. Tommy wants to know if it's like Christmas in the South Pole but then he remembered that it's the NORTH POLE. Good luck! We miss you!
Love,
Miss Verhoye's class, Chollas-Mead
