Antarctic whiteout keeps Polar Opposites grounded
Precipitation in Antarctica averages just 1" annually.....and, it is apparently getting it this week. This is the third day of a snowstorm with zero visibility at Patriot Hills. We´re warm and dry in Punta Arenas waiting for the storm down south to clear.
We´re keeping busy by walking, shopping, reading and watching Chilean TV to brush up on our Spanish. Next update on the weather will be tomorrow morning. Keep your fingers crossed.
Ciao,
Team Polar Opposites
