Patience is a virtue

We're taking advantage of the weather delay and seeing everything that Punta Arenas has to offer. Today, a number of the stranded adventurers visited the Estancia Fitz Roy cattle ranch. Highlights included sheep shearing and herding, horseback riding and the chance to see a few of the local condors, alpacas, and a puma. The ranch was a real taste of Patagonian traditions.

Still watching the weather in Patriot Hills closely and hoping for our window soon. One bit of hopeful news came tonight as we've heard the winds may be shifting direction. This could be helpful to blow some of the snow off the runway. We'll know more tomorrow morning.

Best,

Team Polar Opposites

Kath-
Happy Tuesday! Love the pictures of the Penguins. The entire Cullimore clan is sending good vibes to get you out on the ice soon. :) Mom is following your progress especially close, as you can well imagine. Sending condolences about the Chargers..... I did cheer for them on Sunday:) Maybe if they had that hole in the top of the Stadium the big guy would have been shining down on them a bit more...... Oh, wait they don't play in a dome do they??

love you. Praying for good weather to get you on the plane.

Hi Jennifer
Greetings from the Community & Society team. We're keeping a close watch on your blog and enjoying the reports and pictures. Hang in there and all the best for when you finally get to Patriots
Hill.

Nothing much to report on this end - business as usual (in the chaotic sense)! We have moved and enjoying our new space. I've particulary done well out of a window seat and basking in the very dim sunshine!

All the best
Helen Matovu-Reed.

Ps. I saw the piano and really liked it. Now organising transporting it across London.
