Tentbound

The winds blew all night and are gusting around 55mph at the moment. We're warm in a tent, sorting gear and getting ready to fly closer to the pole. The snow keeps drifting our door shut, but we take turns keeping it clear. Overall we're well down here on the great white continent. Our adventure continues.

Thanks for all the well wishes.

Hi all. My 6th Period class cheered when I read the part "we're here". They want to know if you will answer the following: 1) are you using satellite to transmit 2) How are you keeping your battery charged and 3) How far will you ski. If you do not have time that's o.k.

Have fun...... Carol

~Hello Jenny from Alex, Lindsey, Daniel & Ava! So you finally left Punta Arenas - the stay there must have been good for your Spanish! So pleased that you and the Team have arrived, although that landing sound pretty hair-raising! Hoping next stage goes well when you fly closer. We are following the blog and thinking of you. All love xxxx
